So, today is a kind of special day.

One year ago, Nov. 20, 2011, was the day I posted the first JL8 strip (then titled "Little League") to Tumblr. Back then, the strip was in black and white. It was lettered digitally, as opposed to by hand. Also, I wasn't as good at drawing. Haha. A lot has changed. Well, two things. It's now in color, and I letter by hand.

Anyway, I just wanted to take this moment to extend a thanks to each and every one of you for your support and enthusiasm. Also, your seemingly unending positivity. The internet can be a scary place, and I consider myself incredibly lucky to have such a great group of readers.

So, again, thank you. Whether you've been reading since a year ago today, or if today is your first exposure to the strip, I appreciate each and every one of you.
