Clark, someone someday will appreciate you other than "a brother" and see and love you for this kind of nobility of heart and mind. I never saw the big deal with Lois so...maybe Lana...but she discovered that about you way before Lois and Diana anyway. I just hope PG can be as gracious now as Clark has been over this thing and the poor kid is not forced to just be the "dummy" because he sure seems to be the one getting the short end of the stick a lot of the time.
"All in good time Clark...patience exist to be tested and for the moment enjoy that you do know her and she DOES care for you."
The other kids are "lucky" that neither Iris, Carol and most of all Selina haven't arrived to that school or maybe they are in another school. I can only imagine how things would be for Bruce if Selina ever appears in that school hehe.
I feel bad for Clark but glad he is taking it as it should be if one really cares for a girl.
I liked that through this entire story arc, it's been Bruce guiding and changing who Clark is but when it comes down to it, it's Bruce who learns something from Clark.
"Better than not knowing her."
In other words, "Yeah, I have these feelings that she doesn't return. It stinks, sure. But I would rather have met her and be rejected than have never met her at all."
Judging by the way Diana is looking at Kara, I think she knows where Clark's affections are, which is good. It says she was still able to recognize it even in the fit of fury she was in when she stormed off. I miss DC when it valued storytelling like this.
Dude, I'm not just saying this but if ever DC decide to act like a bunch of wild penises and try to stop you from doing this strip, I'll drop their books in a heartbeat. Not much of a gesture, but it's there.
